Governor and presidential candidate Mike Huckabee to Georgia

Saturday, September 8 – 9:30 a.m.; Gov. Huckabee is expected to
arrive approximately 10:00 a.m.

This
is the first in what we expect will be several special opportunities
for the Cobb GOP to host “meet and greet” events for presidential
candidates during the 2008 primary campaign season. At this event
Gov. Huckabee will address the assembled crowd and meet Georgia
voters in spacious hanger courtesy of Preferred Jet Center.
Please plan to attend!
(This
event will take the place of the normal Cobb Republican Party
Breakfast which will resume at Williamson Bros. in Marietta on
October
6.)

- This will be the first of several events Gov. Huckabee will be
attending in Georgia on the weekend on September 8 & 9 including a
fund raiser scheduled on Saturday, Sept. 8 at the home of Ron and
Fran Terwilliger in Buckhead. An invitation is

COUNTY COMMITTEE MEETING
The Cobb Republican Party will
hold its quarterly County Party Meeting
Thursday
September 6th, 2007
at the
Official notice will be
mailed shortly to all County Party members. All Republicans
are invited to attend this important meeting. We will be
discussing important items and preparing for upcoming events.

hi-lite 'best practices' of successful
Republican campaigns and their management teams. The forum
will consist of 2 panels:
Prominent Elected Officals
Successful Campaign Managers
And will feature a special presentation by well-known strategist
Mark Montini
To learn how successful campaigns are run (and won!), to
hear how the pros win contested elections and to ask
questions of some of the best Republican operatives anywhere, don't

appoint another Executive Committee member to serve as your proxy!

committee members last week.
Following is a
listing of Executive Committee Members:
8.4 The Executive
Committee shall consist of the following voting members:
- County Chair, First
Vice Chair, Second Vice Chair, Secretary, Assistant Secretary,
Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer, The immediate past CCRC Chair,
Commission Sub District Chairs, The CCRC’s General Counsel, The
President or Chair of the Cobb County Republican Women’s Club(s), The
President of Chair of the Cobb County Black Republican Council, The
President or Chair of the Young Republican Club(s), Any other member
of the Executive Committee of the Georgia Republican Party shall be a
non-voting member

The Cobb GOP will host its annual fair booth this year.
Second Vice Chair Andre O'Brien will be leading the effort and we want
to give him plenty of help! As we did last year, we'll be publishing
a schedule of time slots and sponsorship days. Last year we had over 80
volunteers and a good time was had by all! Free admission on each day
that you volunteer! Don't miss this huge
opportunity to support your party and your candidates! The North
Georgia Fair is among the largest event of it's kind in the state and we
have HUGE public attendance.
